The Aerating Pool

The centerpiece of the Fort Worth Water Gardens is the Aerating Pool. This eight-foot-deep pool is made up of three different sections. The first section is a shallow wading pool that cascades down a series of stair steps, allowing you to get close to the water and feel its gentle sprays. The second section contains a larger pool with strong jets of water that rush into an inner basin, creating white caps and an ever-changing pattern of eddies. Visitors often come here to relax and take in the peaceful setting.

The Active Pool

The Active Pool is the most active of the three sections, featuring various interactive features, such as two large water jets and a shallow trough. Visitors can play in the pool's swirling waters or lounge in its comfortable chairs and benches to admire the view. The pool also includes several small cascades that create a playful atmosphere, perfect for families with children.
